It was really great to have a hangout with Altaf and Imran on New Year evening. We planned the trip a week back for having a city hangout by visiting Jublee hills, Banjara Hills, Hi-Tech City and as per plan heading out of the city via Outer Ring road to Shamshabad. But, it was our bad luck that the Outer Ring road from Hi-Tech City was closed for security purpose on New Year Eve. It was a very perfect step by Hyderabad Police to avoid drunk and drive accidents by closing most of all fly-overs.

We had long huddle at Banjara Hills, had some snacks at Survey Bakers and started to Hi-Tech City. It was around 8:00 PM, and the city was really enthusiastic in taking parcels of canapés to celebrate the New Year.
As the outer ring road was closed, I came back to Hi-Tech City and took diversion towards Gachi baowli >> Mehdipatnam Ring Road >> Shamshabad. This was the last part of our plan, to have a great dinner out of the city. So, after travelling about 50 Kms from the city, we found a DHABA kind of Restaurant which also provides open dinner lawn. We enjoyed the dinner there and had a great time till late night, and we started from there around 1:30 AM back to the city.

We thought of checking the city status after coming back, but as per the security alert for New Year, alerting the last celebrating time till 1:00 AM, the city was completely silent and the security officials boosted the security to avoid any mishaps. So, by seeing this, we thought to go back home.
This day was a memorable day for three of us, but we were also very upset because we all were missing our loving friend Irfan, who is in UK. It is not that he was not enjoying!, even he was enjoying the parties out there, but even he was missing us on the same time.
But, we hope irfan will join us at next upcoming New Year Eve.
